ARGUS AI COPILOT - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Argus, Trusys's AI-powered trace
analysis co-pilot currently in beta. Key points:
Beta Status- Argus is experimental. AI analysis may be incomplete or incorrect.
Your Responsibility- Always verify Argus findings independently before relying on them.
Not a Guarantee- Results are for informational purposes only. No warranty of accuracy.
Prohibited- Prompt injection, jailbreaking, model extraction, and exploitation attempts.
Enforcement- Violations trigger immediate account suspension without warning.
Liability- Company is not liable for decisions based on Argus output.
Use Cases- Investigation, performance tuning, pattern detection on Trusys.
NOT For- Critical production changes, compliance audits, incident response alone.
FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing and using Argus (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have
read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
Argus is provided by Trusys ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). Your use of the
Service is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
2. BETA STATUS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
2.1 Beta Service
Argus is currently in beta and is provided on an "AS-IS" basis. The Service is
still under development and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete
features.
Key limitations:
- AI-generated analysis and answers may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading
- The Service may not accurately interpret traces, logs, or system data
- Features, functionality, and performance are subject to change without notice
- The Service may experience downtime, data loss, or unexpected behavior
2.2 No Warranty
WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE SERVICE, INCLUDING
BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANALYSIS
- THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS
- THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE
- THAT RESULTS WILL BE SUITABLE FOR PRODUCTION USE
2.3 Your Responsibility
You acknowledge that:
- You must not rely solely on Argus output for critical decisions
- All findings must be independently verified through manual inspection
- You remain responsible for validating any insights or recommendations
- Domain expertise and human judgment are essential complements to AI analysis
- You must review results with qualified personnel familiar with your systems
3. USE RESTRICTIONS
You agree not to:
3.1 Prohibited Activities
- Use the Service to make critical production decisions without independent
verification
- Rely on Argus analysis for security-critical or compliance-critical
determinations
- Use the Service in a manner that could cause harm to systems, applications,
or infrastructure
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI model
- Use the Service to train competing AI models or systems
- Bypass authentication, security controls, or rate limits
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws
- Share, distribute, or sell access to the Service without authorization
- Attempt prompt injection, jailbreaking, or other manipulation techniques to
circumvent safety guidelines
- Use the Service to generate harmful, malicious, or deceptive content
- Attempt to extract, exfiltrate, or misuse system prompts, model weights, or
internal instructions
- Use the Service to social-engineer, trick, or manipulate the AI into
bypassing its constraints
- Submit inputs designed to confuse, overwhelm, or exploit the AI model's
reasoning
- Attempt to induce the AI to violate its own usage policies or return
prohibited outputs
3.2 Data Handling
- Do not upload sensitive personal data (PII) or highly confidential information
- Do not use the Service with data subject to strict regulatory constraints
- You are responsible for anonymizing or redacting sensitive trace data before
analysis
- The Company is not liable for exposure of sensitive data you choose to upload
3.3 Abuse Prevention & Enforcement
- Monitoring: The Company monitors for violations of these Terms, including
prompt injection attempts, jailbreaking, and policy circumvention
- Automated detection: The Service includes safeguards and automated logging to
detect suspicious activity
- Account suspension: Users who attempt to exploit, manipulate, or abuse the
Service will have their access immediately suspended
- No warning required: The Company may terminate access without prior notice if
abuse is detected
- Cooperation with law enforcement: The Company may share information with law
enforcement regarding illegal activities
- Rate limiting: Excessive or abusive queries may be rate-limited or blocked
automatically
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & OUTPUTS
4.1 Your Data
You retain all rights to traces, logs, and data you upload to the Service
("Your Data"). However, you grant us a limited license to:
- Process Your Data to provide analysis and insights
- Retain anonymized usage data for service improvement
- Use aggregated, non-identifiable information for development
4.2 Analysis Output
Any analysis, recommendations, or insights generated by Argus ("Output") are
provided for informational purposes only. The Company does not warrant the
accuracy or suitability of Output for your use case.
You may use Output subject to:
- Independent verification and validation by qualified personnel
- Compliance with your organization's policies and applicable laws
- Acknowledgment that Output is AI-generated and may contain errors
5. DATA PRIVACY & SECURITY
5.1 Data Processing
- Argus processes traces and logs you upload to generate analysis
- Data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- We do not intentionally retain Your Data beyond the session unless necessary
for service improvement
5.2 Security
- We implement reasonable security measures to protect Your Data
- However, we make no guarantee of data security during beta
- Data breaches, unauthorized access, or loss are possible
- You acknowledge the risks of uploading any sensitive information
5.3 Data Retention
- Analysis sessions and results may be retained for service improvement
- You can request deletion of Your Data, subject to legal/contractual obligations
- Some anonymized usage patterns may be retained indefinitely
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
6.1 Disclaimer
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of data, revenue, profits, business interruption, or reputational harm
- Errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete analysis provided by Argus
- Decisions made based on Argus output or recommendations
- Third-party claims arising from your use of the Service
- Any damages resulting from your failure to verify Argus analysis
6.2 Liability Cap
Except where prohibited by law, the Company's total liability for claims
arising from these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid for the Service in the
12 months preceding the claim. If no fees were paid, liability is limited to $0.
7. AI SAFETY & SECURITY
7.1 AI System Integrity
The following practices are strictly prohibited to maintain the integrity and
security of the AI system:
- Prompt injection attacks: Crafting inputs with special instructions, role-play
scenarios, or meta-instructions designed to override Argus's operational
guidelines
- Jailbreaking attempts: Using techniques like "pretend you're a different AI,"
"ignore your constraints," or "system override" commands
- Model extraction: Attempting to reverse-engineer, extract, or reconstruct the
underlying AI model, weights, or training data
- Adversarial inputs: Deliberately crafting malformed or adversarial trace data
to cause the AI to malfunction or produce unintended outputs
- Indirect exploitation: Using Argus output to generate harmful content,
mislead others, or circumvent policies elsewhere
7.2 Monitoring & Detection
- Continuous monitoring: Argus logs and analyzes user behavior to detect abuse
patterns
- Pattern detection: The Service identifies suspicious request patterns,
repeated exploitation attempts, or coordinated abuse
- Automated enforcement: Violations trigger automatic account restrictions,
rate limiting, or termination
- Human review: Flagged accounts may be reviewed by Trusys security team
- No liability for restrictions: The Company is not liable for service
restrictions, access denials, or account suspensions
7.3 Content & Output Security
- Argus will refuse to generate harmful, illegal, or misleading content,
regardless of how requests are framed
- Attempts to use Argus to produce malware, exploits, or attack instructions
are prohibited and monitored
- The Company reserves the right to refuse analysis of data suspected to
contain malicious payloads or encoded exploits
- Users are responsible for ensuring their uploaded traces do not contain
attacks or exploit attempts targeting Argus
8. DISCLAIMERS
8.1 No Professional Advice
Argus analysis is not a substitute for:
- Professional technical expertise or consultation
- Formal security audits or compliance assessments
- Vendor support or official documentation
- Human review and domain-specific judgment
8.2 Production Use
Argus is NOT suitable for:
- Making critical production decisions without human review
- Compliance certification or formal audits
- Security incident response without verification
- Regulatory reporting or official documentation
8.3 Accuracy & Completeness
- Argus may miss important patterns or issues in your traces
- Analysis may be based on incomplete or misinterpreted data
- Recommendations may not apply to your specific environment
- Results may become inaccurate as systems evolve
9. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors,
and employees from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses
(including attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your reliance on Argus output without independent verification
- Claims by third parties related to Your Data or your use
10. TERMINATION
10.1 By You
You may discontinue using the Service at any time by ceasing access.
10.2 By Company
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service:
- For violation of these Terms
- For abuse or misuse of the Service
- To protect the integrity or security of the Service
- Due to beta discontinuation or service changes
10.3 Effect

- Third-party service outages are not the Company's responsibility

2. Jailbreaking - "Ignore your constraints" or similar circumvention attempts
3. Model extraction - Reverse-engineering, prompt dumping, weight extraction
4. Exploitation - Crafting inputs to crash, confuse, or cause unintended
behavior
5. Abuse of resources - Excessive queries, rate limit bypass, DoS attempts
6. Harmful content - Generating malware, exploits, illegal instructions
7. Data misuse - Uploading attack payloads, malicious traces, or poisoned data
8. Unauthorized access - Attempting to access other users' data or accounts
9. Third-party infringement - Using Argus to violate others' IP or privacy
rights
10. Competitive intelligence - Training competing models on Argus output
ENFORCEMENT:
- Automatic detection: Suspicious activity is logged and flagged
- Immediate suspension: Violations trigger instant account termination
- No appeal: Suspensions are typically permanent during beta
- Legal action: Severe violations may result in prosecution
- IP ban: Repeated abuse may result in IP address bans
